Consular services

We provide consular services to Australians overseas in line with the Consular Services Charter. Our capacity to assist is influenced by local laws and conditions, international rules governing consular work, and by the cooperation offered by persons and organisations. This does not diminish the obligation of Australian citizens to keep themselves informed on the situation in the country likely to affect their safety or to meet costs incurred in rendering assistance.

Australians requiring advice or assistance from the consular section (+1868 822 5450, option 1) may make an appointment to visit the High Commission during our opening hours:

08:00 to 16:30

Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays
